Action: Extend local state of emergency until March 27, 2001.



2. Subject: Travel to Lake County for Multi-County Drug Summit (Supervisor Kirk)

Recommendation: Approve travel for Supervisor Kirk for March 14-16, 2001.

3. Subject: Reallocation of Deputy County Administrative Officer-Budget Position, Range 404

Recommendation: Reallocate position to Deputy County Administrative Officer, and allocate same.



Conflict Counsel



4. Subject: Lease Agreement with Mark Carter for Office Space at 931 Third Street, Eureka

Recommendation: Approve lease agreement.



Health & Human Services--Mental Health



5. Subject: Adoption of Class of Senior Vocational Counselor, and Allocation of Said Position

Recommendation: Approve request.

6. Subject: Request for Revised Class Description and Salary for Social Worker IV-A, B, C, and D

Recommendation: Approve request.



7. Subject: Request for Allocation of Integrated Caseworker Positions

Recommendation: Approve request.



8. Subject: Amendment to Agreement with RCAA Youth Service Bureau for a Group Home

Recommendation: Amend agreement from eight beds to six beds.

9. Subject: Agreement with the Area Agency on Aging for Eldercare Services

Recommendation: Approve agreement.

10. Subject: Designation of Alice Avenue, Arcata Area, at its North and South Intersections with Ernest Way, as a Stop Intersection

Recommendation: Introduce ordinance, waive first reading, and set ordinance for adoption.



11. Subject: Prohibition of Vehicle Parking or Standing on West Side of Dows Prairie Road in Vicinity of Dows Prairie School

Recommendation: Introduce ordinance, waive first reading, and set ordinance for adoption.



12. Subject: Renovation and Remodel of Juvenile Hall, Project No. 170234 ($843,000)

Recommendation: Award the project to Adroit Construction Co., Inc. of Ashland, Oregon.
