1.                   Ben Shepard introduced Larry Cowan new Executive Director of the McKinleyville Chamber of Commerce.  Daniel Pierce in response to the presentation at the May 14, 2002 meeting on women's cancers he stated prostrate cancer will eventually affect all men and spoke in support of marijuana use.  Kathy Miles requested the Board pass the Employee of Record Ordinance in regards to In Home Supportive Services as soon as possible.

J.                   PUBLIC HEARINGS

Community Development Services

1.                   Grading, Erosion control, Geological Hazards, Open Space and Conservation and Related Ordinance Revisions

RECOMMENDATION: Open the public hearing and continue same to the meeting of May 28, 2002.
