RECOMMENDATION: Continue public hearing to June 3, 2002 at 1:30 pm to monitor if chainsaw carving business continues to be operated as public nuisance.If such a determination is made revoke the conditional use permits by adopting the resolution submitted in the staff report of February 5, 2002.

2.                   Ordinance Amending Sections 271-9(a), (b), (c), and 271-14(b) of Chapter 1, Division 7, Title II of the County Code Relating to Camping, Vehicle Use Length of Stay and Hours Parks are Open

RECOMMENDATION: Find proposed ordinance revisions and resolution qualify for a Class 8 Categorical Exemption under California Environmental Quality Act and note that a Notice of Exemption was filed November 8, 2002 with the County Clerk.Schedule ordinance for adoption on December 17, 2002.

3.                   Procedures for Implementing SB 497 (Sher) Subdivision Map Act and Lot Line Adjustments

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt interim procedures, and direct staff to include General Plan conformance for lot line adjustments as an issue to be addressed in the pending General Plan Update or as a stand alone amendment to the General Plan if found appropriate by the Board.
