18.               Allocate Road Superintendent positions; disallocate Road Maintenance Supervisor positions

RECOMMENDATION: Allocate 2 superintendent positions and disallocate 2 supervisor positions.

19.               Construction of Rohnerville Road Overlay; Project No. RPL 59049(041); Contract No. 990703

RECOMMENDATION: Approve Contract Change Order No. 3 which involves using project contingency monies ($67,148.56) to overlay with asphalt concrete.

20.               Construction of Security Fence at Arcata-Eureka Airport; Project No. AIP-3-06-0010-22 Contract No. 911500

RECOMMENDATION: Approve Contract Change Order No. 4 for $106,858.37 involving items of extra work at agreed price for realignment of the fence along the top of the bluff.

21.               Extension of Extra-help hours for Karen Butterworth (employed in the Parks Division)

RECOMMENDATION: Approve extension to a maximum of 1,960 hours.

22.               Proposed Ordinance amending Title IV, Division 3, Chapter 1, Section 431-52 of the Humboldt County Code, relating to parking on Harrison Avenue in Eureka

RECOMMENDATION: Introduce by title, waive first reading, and set for adoption at least one week away.

23.               Request for Supplemental Budget ($4,640) for the purchase of Four Light Bars

RECOMMENDATION: Approve request and establish associated fixed-asset account.
