A.                  CLOSED SESSION

1.                   It is the Intention of the Board of Supervisors to Meet in Closed Session to Consider Public Employee Appointment for the Position of Administrative Assistant to the Board of Supervisors

RECOMMENDATION: On Monday, April 5, 1999, the Board of Supervisors voted in Closed Session to offer the position of Administrative Assistant to Teresa MacClelland.Upon acceptance of the position, Ms. MacClelland will be employed as the Administrative Assistant to the Board, on April 26, 1999, immediately following Ms. MacClelland's giving two weeks' notice for her current position.

AYES: Stan Dixon, John Woolley, Bonnie Neely and Paul Kirk NAYS: None ABSENT Roger Rodoni ABSTAIN: None

B.                  ADJOURNMENT

Any written materials related to an item on this agenda submitted to the Board of Supervisors less than 72 hours prior to the Board meeting, and that are public records subject to the Public Records Act, are available for public inspection in the Office of the Clerk of the Board at 825 5th Street, Suite 111, Eureka (476-2384), during normal business hours.
