1.                   Mr. Don Raffaelli, Public Works Director, introduced Mr. Tom Mattson, the newly-appointed Deputy Director of Public Works.Mr. Mattson stated that he is glad to be in the position and that he looks forward to the challenges that come with it.Cathryn Hillard, Administrator of the Construction Industry Force Account Council (CIFAC) requested that an agenda item be scheduled in the future to discuss Public Works' contracting procedures.Robert Parker of the Trees Foundation announced that a public forum would be held at the Double Tree Inn in Eureka on Thursday, February 5, 1998 at 6:00 p.m.Lianne Richey is opposed to permits issued for Reggae on the River.
