Board of Supervisors
RECOMMENDATION: Ratify the Certificates of Achievement.
2. Letter of Support of the City of Ferndale's Wastewater Construction Project. (Supervisor Smith)
RECOMMENDATION: Ratify authorization for chair to sign letter of support.
3. Certificates of Recognition for Soroptimist International of Eel River Valley Annual Award Winners: Hillary Callihan, Winner of the Violet Richardson Award, Gwyndolyn Ozard, Winner of the Kathleen McVey Memorial Youth Citizenship Award, and Jessica Goodrow, Winner of the Women's Opportunity Award. (Supervisor Clendenen)
RECOMMENDATION: Ratify the Certificates of Recognition.
RECOMMENDATION: Ratify letter of support.
RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the Resolution.
6. Letter Supporting the Sheriff's Office State Off-Highway Vehicle Grant Application. (Supervisor Smith)
RECOMMENDATION: Authorize Chair to Sign Letter of Support.
Clerk of the Board
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Board Orders, and authorize the Clerk of the Board and the Board Chair, to sign the minute book in accordance with California Government Code Section 25103.
Health and Human Services - Mental Health Branch
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors approve and authorize the Chair to execute the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for the California Counties Mental Health Services Authority; Appoint Karolyn Rim Stein as Director and Barbara Lahaie as the Alternate Director as Humboldt County's representatives to the Authority; Direct the Clerk of the Board to return two executed copies of the agreement to the Mental Health Branch.
Health and Human Services - Public Health Branch
9. Approve and Authorize Signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health and North Coast Emergency medical Services for the Distribution of the Pediatric Richie Fund and Approve the Supplemental Budget for Fiscal Year 2008-2009 , Budget Unit #410, Emergency Medical Services.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors approve and authorize the Public health Branch Director to sign three Memorandum of Understanding between the Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Branch and North Coast Emergency medical Services for the distribution of the Pediatric Richie Fund; and Approve the supplemental budget and direct the Auditor - Controller to adjust the budget in Fund 1175, Budget Unit #410, Emergency Medical Services, as shown in Attachment II.
Health and Human Services - Social Services Branch
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors approve the Second Amendment of the Memorandum of Understanding with California Statewide Automated Welfare System Consortium IV; and Authorize the Chair to executed three copies of the Second Amendment and Direct Clerk of the Board to route two fully executed copies of the Amendment to the Director, Department of Health and Human Services Social Services Branch.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors adopt the following supplemental budget for funds related to the Freshwater Park Improvements Project; Revenue 1100713-661037 River Parkways $7,975; Expenditure - 1100713-8189 - Improvements $7,975.
E. DEPARTMENT REPORTS
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors grant a waiver from the provisions of the Nuclear Free Ordinance; Approve Standard Agreement No. 08-0616, Known as State Funding for Weed Management Areas; Authorize the Chair to sign the original and one copy of the cover page as well as the Contractor Certification form, and return all copies to the Agriculture Department for further processing, and Authorize the Auditor - Controller to executed the included supplemental budget for fiscal year 2008-09.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors grant a waiver from the provisions of the Nuclear Free Ordinance; Approve Standard Agreement No. 08-597, Known as State funding for Weed Management Area; authorize the Chair to sign the original and one copy of the cover page as well as the Contractor Certification form, and return all copies to the Agriculture Department for further processing; and Authorize the Auditor - Controller to execute the included supplement budget for fiscal year 2008-09.
RECOMMENDATION: That the Board of Supervisors grant a waiver of the Nuclear Free Ordinance; and Approve Standard Agreement No. 08-0388, known as the Nursery Inspection; Approve Standard Agreement No. 08-0388, known as the Nursery Inspection; Enforcement Contract and authorize the Chair to sign the original and one copy of the cover page as well as the Contractor Certification form, and return all copies along with the Board order authorizing execution to the Agricultural Commissioner for further processing and Authorize the Auditor - Controller to execute the attached supplemental budget as detailed for 2008-09.
