RECOMMENDATION: Approve agreement pertaining to meeting scheduled for 02/05/97 at Redwood Acres.

Social Services

20.               Temporary Increase in Salary for Alice Tolman, Eligibility Worker III, as if She had been Promoted to Eligibility Supervisor (January 6,1997 through September 30, 1997)--(No Additional County Cost)

RECOMMENDATION: Approve increase during implementation of the ISAWS Help Desk.

21.               Transfer from Contingency to Emergency Services to Cover Response Costs for Departments Beginning with the December 8, 1996 Storms

RECOMMENDATION: Approve transfer of $60,000 from the Contingency Fund.

Public Works

1.                   Contract Change Orders in Excess of $10,000 for Jail, Road, Bridge and Airport Projects (None)

2.                   Status of Road Repairs and Funding Due to Recent Storms

RECOMMENDATION: Receive and file report on status of road repairs and funding due to recent storms and approve transfer of $500,000 through the Road Fund Contingency to provide for storm damage related expenditures.

3.                   Lease Agreement with Redwood Flying Club for Office Space at Murray Field Airport

RECOMMENDATION: Approve proposed agreement.

4.                   Extension of Various Solid Waste Franchise Contracts

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize staff to begin negotiations to extend 4 contracts for collection of solid waste by one year and three months in unincorporated Blue Lake/ Fieldbrook, Weott/Myers Flat, Ferndale and Willow Creek areas.
