1.                   Don Davenport voiced concerns that the Planning Commission's February 27, 1997 public hearing on the Housing Element was only noticed in the Humboldt Beacon newspaper.Louis De Martin said that he is very sad that the Harbor District's assessment district includes single-family dwellings and he also had some concerns as to how the assessment district's boundaries are drawn.

Public Works Land Use Division

1.                   Amending Sect. 411-1 of County Code--Encroachment Permit Regulations; Protection of County Highways

RECOMMENDATION: Approve amendment by adopting Ordinance No. 2142 and Resolution No. 97-31.
