RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the revised class description of Economic Development Coordinator (Salary Range 405, Class 0638) into the classification plan.Approve the reallocation of the Economic Development Specialist (Salary 380, Class

11.               Request for Reinstatement of Investigator

RECOMMENDATION: Allocate one Investigator position for Alternate Conflict Counsel, Department 253 (Job Class 0449, Salary Range 360), effective immediately.Authorize filling of the position; (3) authorize the transfer of funds in the amount of $9,647.00 from the General Fund Reserves for Contingencies to the budget for the Alternate Conflict Counsel, Department 253, Salaries and Employees Benefits.

12.               Thewlis/Fox Overflight Easement; Assessor's Parcel No. 511-390-023; McKinleyville

RECOMMENDATION: Accept the Overflight Easement to the County of Humboldt, executed by David Thewlis and Susan Fox for the benefit of the Arcata-Eureka Airport.

Sheriff

13.               Resolution in Support of an Application for a Grant from the State Department of Parks--Off-Highway Vehicle Program for Funding a Deputy Sheriff Position to Patrol Both the Beach and Dunes Management Area, and the Beaches to the North and South Where Enforcement Has Been a Continuing Problem

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 05-24.

14.               Boating Safety and Enforcement Financial Aid Program Contract for Fiscal Year 2005-2006

RECOMMENDATION: Approve contract, and authorize the Sheriff and the Auditor-Controller to sign all necessary documents to claim quarterly reimbursements from the California Department of Boating and Waterways.
