A.                  PROPOSED 1996-97 COUNTY BUDGET

1.                   STUDY SESSION Personnel; County Counsel/Community Assistance; Planning and Building Inspection

RECOMMENDATION: No formal action taken by the Board.

2.                   Wrap-Up Summary and Instructions

RECOMMENDATION: By consensus, direct that the first item of discussion during the public hearings on said budget shall be to address options to deal with the five-million dollar budget deficit, such as:a reduction in work week (10%); elimination of positions; program reduction or elimination; an election for a 1/2 cent increase in sales tax; privatization of services; use of reserves and "golden handshakes."

3.                   Mad River Road (County Road #4L680) PM 2.50 - 3.00 December 1995 Storm Damage Repairs

RECOMMENDATION: Authorized repairs to be performed at an estimated cost of $120,000.

B.                  ADJOURNMENT
