RECOMMENDATION: Approve the plans and specifications.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve consolidation of Budget Units 200, 201, 202, 204, 210, 213, and 215 into Budget Unit 216, Humboldt Superior and Municipal Courts.

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 96-29.

7.                   Proposed Legislation--Assembly Bill 2616 (Woods)--Federal Funding for Psychiatric Health Facilities

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize Chair to sign letter of support for mailing to pertinent legislative committees.

8.                   Report on Homeless Assistance and Participation with the City of Eureka

RECOMMENDATION: Further explore concept of developing an assistance center based on stated goals of submitted report, the Humboldt County Homeless Strategy Matrix and the Indiana Center; explore the siting of a center; prepare an economic and cost analysis of providing services; determine which services must be provided first and which services could be added at a later date.See scanned agenda item for more details.

RECOMMENDATION: Order the account and proposed assessment of $7,470.82 confirmed.

2.                   Administrative Abatement Hearing; Humboldt County v. Steven and Carolyn Throssel; File No. AP304-231-23

RECOMMENDATION: Make finding of public nuisance and order owners to abate said nuisance.
