RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 95-15 (fourth 14-Day extension).

2.                   Contract with California Department of Forestry for Fire Protection and Dispatch Services

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize Chair to sign contract and approve transfer of $159 from Contingencies.

Board of Supervisors

3.                   Appointments to the Alcohol and Drug Advisory Board (Supervisor Fulkerson)

RECOMMENDATION: Appoint Thomas Harkins and Carmen Neustrom.

4.                   Support for Keeping the Local CalTrans Office at its Current level of Personnel (Supervisor Fulkerson)

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize sending of letters of support to Senator Thompson and Assemblyman Hauser.

5.                   Resolution Honoring Eureka Woman's Club on Their 95th Anniversary (Supervisor Neely)

RECOMMENDATION: Ratify resolution.

10.               Request for Proposals (RFP)--Providing of Health and Mental Health Services to Jail Inmates

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize release of RFP.

11.               Revised Budget for CHDP Program and Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment Program

RECOMMENDATION: Approve revised budgets.

12.               Purchase of Fixed Asset (Computer System) for Budget Unit 470 HIV CARE Consortium

RECOMMENDATION: Approve purchase in the amount of $2,600.

Mental Health

13.               Temporary Increase in Compensation for Karolyn Stein, Quality Management Coordinator

RECOMMENDATION: Approve increase of 20 salary ranges until such time as the department completes its reorganization plan.

14.               Locum Tenens Psychiatric Physician Agreement with National Medical Registry Inc.

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize interim Mental Health Director to sign said agreement for placement of temporary psychiatrists.

15.               Rental Agreement with Cooperative Personnel Services for Use of Written Examinations

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize Acting Personnel Director to sign said agreement.

16.               Eligibility Lists--Deputy Sheriff I and II Emergency Communications Dispatcher I and Sheriff's Captain

RECOMMENDATION: Approve dissolution of said lists upon the establishment of new eligibility lists.

Public Defender

17.               Transfer of $1,531,100 from Contingencies for Purchase of File Shelving

RECOMMENDATION: Approve transfer.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve request.

Public Works

19.               Selection of County Bridges as Part of the State's 1996 Bridge Replacement Program

RECOMMENDATION: Choose to not select any of the County's bridges due to current backlog of seven bridges.

20.               Request to Authorize the Collection of Passenger Facility Charges (PFC) at the $3.00 Level

RECOMMENDATION: Approve request and authorize signing of application for a total PFC collection of $539,000.

21.               Resolution to Accept Roads into the County-Maintained Road System

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Resolution No. 96-16.

22.               Lease Agreement with Gary G. Logging Inc. for the Kodiak Hangar at Rohnerville Airport
