1.                   Amendment to Ordinance No. 2083--Fees for Underground Storage Tank Program and Roads--Engineering

RECOMMENDATION: Schedule public hearing for October 31, 1995.

2.                   Adjustment of Emergency Services Position Allocation

RECOMMENDATION: Approve adjustments to the Personnel Allocation Table adopted in the final budget package to accurately reflect the allocation of 1.00 FTE Administrative Analyst I/II, Class 623, Range 246/279, and 1.00 FTE Senior Office Assistant, Class 130, Range 179.

Board of Supervisors

3.                   City of Arcata's Planning Grant Application from Community Development Block Grant Program, Economic Development Allocation (Supervisor Dixon)

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize Chair to sign letter of support.

4.                   Approval of the Minutes from the Board Meeting of September 12, 1995

RECOMMENDATION: Approve minutes.

RECOMMENDATION: Adopt current Option 9 proposals and forward same to SCERT.

Health

11.               Community Donations for Healthy Mom's Programs and California Children Services

RECOMMENDATION: Approve new revenue accounts for said donations.

12.               Changes in Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Allocations for Fiscal Year 1995-96

RECOMMENDATION: Approve changes as submitted.

13.               Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the HIV Prevention Community Planning Project

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize Chair to sign MOU with State Department of Health Services.

14.               Adjustments to Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program Budget Line Items

3.                   Ordinance to Provide Recovery of Costs--Processing Enforcement of Code Violations

RECOMMENDATION: Introduce by title, waive first reading, and set for adoption on 11/14/95.

Superior Court

5.                   Update Regarding Court Unification

RECOMMENDATION: Authorize work to move some court functions to vacated Library space in courthouse, and renovation of second floor space; authorize staff to work with City of Fortuna to co-locate Fortuna Division at City complex for extended lease period; authorize staff to arrange to sell existing Fortuna Court facility; direct staff to schedule necessary hearings and take appropriate actions to accomplish consolidation of Arcata Court with Eureka Division; and authorize staff to work on sale of Pierson Park property to McKinleyville CSD.
