A.                  DEPARTMENT REPORTS

Community Development Services

1.                   Board to Consider a County Position on Sentencing for Violations of the State Subdivision Map Act in the Titlow Hill Area of Humboldt County: People v. Kenneth M. Bareilles CR 083846.

RECOMMENDATION: Hear staff report on background and status of State Subdivision Map Act violations in the Titlow Hill Area and criminal prosecution; oppose Penal Code Section 17b Motion to Reduce Felony Plea to Misdemeanor;  take a position on sentencing on behalf of the County; approve and submit letter to the Honorable Judge Ronald Brown for sentencing and/or take other appropriate action; designate board member or other appropriate person to appear at sentencing scheduled for Friday January 29, 2010 at 1:30 p.m., in order to state County's position to the Court.

B.                  ADJOURNMENT
