1.                   Public Meeting for the Hearing Draft of the Headwaters Fund Alternatives Report

ACTION: Receive the staff report; receive public comments. Vote on selected alternatives.Direct Community Development staff to finalize the Headwaters Fund Charter consistent with Board selected alternatives.Direct Community Development staff and the Board appointed Headwaters Fund sub committee to commence implementation of selected alternatives. Direct Personnel Department to review proposed Headwaters Fund Coordinator position for classification purposes.Direct Auditor-Controller to establish a new budget unit number for administrative activities and direct Community Development staff to prepare a revised Fiscal Year 2002-2003 budget submittal for the Economic Division reflecting the new budget unit.
