RECOMMENDATION: Adopt proclamation, and hear report.

Per motion by Supervisor Neely, second by Supervisor Rodoni, the Board directed that an agenda item be scheduled at a future Board meeting for the purpose of addressing Governor Davis's proposed cuts to child-care programs.  Congressman Thompson, State Senator Chesbro, Assemblywoman Berg, and/or their designated representatives shall be invited to said meeting for participation in the discussion of the agenda item.  MOTION PASSED UNANIMOUSLY.
