Fred Green opposed the recent creation of the Public Roads Division of the Department of Public Works.  Aldo Bongio spoke on issues pertaining to the timber industry.  Nate Lomba said that the fishing industry also supports Humboldt County, and invited the Board members to a lecture pertaining to uranium depletion.  Shunka Wakan spoke about tree-sits in the Grizzly Creek area.  Tracy Kattelman spoke in support of the Firewise Workshop.  Kristi Hellman introduced a special-needs 18-year old with Down's Syndrome who turned 18 on this date and was voting for the first time.
