G.                 11:00 A.M.--BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

1.                   Presentation by Tom Birmingham, General Manager Westlands Water District, on Proposed Settlement Over the Trinity River Water(Supervisor Geist)

Mr. Birmingham did not attend this meeting.  Therefore, the scheduled presentation was not given. 

Authorized the Chair to sign a letter of response to letters from Mr. Birmingham, and offering to reschedule his presentation.  The Board reaffirmed its support for the current Record of Decision on Trinity River water.  Reactivated the Board's subcommittee on this matter (subcommittee members are Supervisors Smith and Geist).

H.                  PUBLIC HEARING--1:30 P.M.

Public Works

1.                   Proposed General Vacation of a Public Right of Way, Known as 11th Street in Fieldbrook

ACTION: Find that the right of way is surplus property as per Section 25526.5 of the Government Code in that it is no longer necessary for county or other public purposes and that the estimated value is less than $25,000.  Declare the right of way to be exempt surplus land as per Section 54221(c)(2)(B) of the Government Code and exempt from Section 54222 of the Government Code as per Section 54222.3 of the Government Code.  Adopt Resolution No. 03-113, vacating said portion of 11th Street.
