The County Administrative Office was established by Ordinance No.
701-1, passed in 1969.
The County Administrative Office is the administrative
arm of the Board of Supervisors.
The County Administrative Office recommends
and facilitates the implementation of policies for the Board of
Supervisors, analyzes issues and makes recommendations to the Board
regarding the administration and operation of County departments and
monitors the use of financial and human resources.
The Administrative Office is also responsible for providing direction and supervision
of the following functions:
Communications,
Information Technology,
Purchasing,
Revenue Recovery and
Risk Management.
