Humboldt County Supervisorial Redistricting
GIS services developed and maintained an interactive redistricting map application for public feedback for the Elections Department to determine new County Supervisor district boundaries.
Technical support to elections included tallying populations by precinct, developing population predictions, redrawing boundaries, and assisting with presentations to the Board of Supervisors. After the Board approved the boundary changes the County Surveyor determined the legal descriptions for the new boundaries using the interactive redistricting map application.
