Sempervirens Psychiatric Health Facility provides inpatient hospitalization for evaluation and treatment of severely acute psychiatric episodes, including those who are a danger to self, a danger to others or are gravely disabled.
During their stay patients are encouraged to be an active participant in their treatment team, along with a psychiatrist, nursing staff, social worker, activity therapist, and discharge planner.
A daily schedule of activities and groups is posted by the nurses desk. These are designed to improve coping skills, promote socialization, physical fitness, creativity and overall mental well being. Examples of activities and group topics include:

Patients are encouraged to have visitors during their stay at Sempervirens.
