Adolescent Family Life Program / Teenage Pregnancy & Parenting Network (TAPPN)

TAPPN is a voluntary Public Health Nursing Program that provides case management services for pregnant and/or parenting teens. The team consists of Public Health Nurses and Community Health Outreach Workers.

The Public Health Nurses assist in locating and receiving quality services for family medical care. The goals of the program are to improve health outcome for infants; to enhance the health, educational potential, economic opportunity and self-sufficiency of adolescents during pregnancy and parenthood and that of their children; and to promote healthy parent-child relationships. Program criteria: Enrollment of pregnant or parenting teens through the age of 18 for females and age 20 for males. These services are available county-wide.
