WHAT: Sixth Annual Re-refined Oil Change Day where participants can learn about the importance of recycling used oil and oil filters and closing the recycling loop by using re-refined motor oil. For $10 and a filter, participants will get a quality re-refined oil change by Eureka High School (EHS) Motorsports team members. While waiting, participants can check out the EHS Motorsports team racecar which races at the Valvoline National Runoff, winning 2nd place in 2002, as well as having the opportunity to win a variety of other prizes.

Rerefined Motor Oil is; 1) equivalent in quality to other top brands and goes through the same refining process as virgin crude, 2) meets all major automobile manufacture warranties, 3) certified by the American Petroleum Institute, 4) in every new Mercedes Benz manufactured in Germany, 5) energy efficient, 6) used by the U.S. Postal Service, National Parks Service, Humboldt County, and Cities of Eureka & Arcata, 7) and, of course, used in the Eureka High custom-built NASPORT series racecar.

The first twenty appointments will receive the rerefined oil change free of charge. Participants seeking a re-refined oil change must make an appointment by calling (707) 268-2225.
