Bus
stop (ETS Purple Route) has
been re-routed as of September 2008; the closest city bus stop is now
at the Adorni Center (2nd St. and Waterfront) at one minute after the
hour. There is a three block walk to the library. One
block is uphill, from the Adorni Center to the Carson Mansion.
We hope this disruption of City Bus service to the Library will be
temporary.
Ask us about the California State Library's Braille
and Talking Book Library service. This service
loans Braille, cassette and talking books, magazines and
playback equipment to those unable to read conventional print.
They also have digital audio books. The material is sent to your
home. The Reference Librarian can help you connect to this
resource.
