"Cha-Cha-Chalk It Up for Books"
Linda Boyden
author, storyteller, illustrator and poet
is this year's special guest and will perform at
11:00 a.m.
Chalk It Up for Books is a fundraiser for the library. Sidewalk chalk artists are commissioned to create
wonderful pieces of art on sidewalk squares surrounding the library building. There will be music and food
for some good family fun!
Share a Story:
Wednesday, May 9 - 4:00 p.m.
Share a Story is an opportunity for families come
together for an hour of fun with a focus on reading. This event includes
stories, a video clip, activities and crafts. Each participating family will
also receive a free book. This program is co-sponsored by KEET TVs Ready to
Learn Service and First 5 Humboldt.
