Photo: CD Collins sits against the corner of a weathered board building. Meet Kentucky native and author of Blue Land, CD Collins.

Her controversial new album, Clean Coal / Big Lie, and her live performance feature songs and spoken-word pieces that will transport you to the deepest heart of Appalachia -- its troubles, unforgettable characters, and ineffable, endangered beauty.

CD Collins has performed at the Berklee College of Music Performance Hall, Boston Public Library, Club Passim, and Boston's Institute of Contemporary Art.  She was a guest of the New York Public Library and the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.

Trinidad Library Reader's Club
- A Book Club of Ideas -

First Thursday of Each Month, 7:00 p.m.

The Trinidad Library Readerís Club is not the kind of book club where everyone reads the same book, but a book club of ideas. Sometimes we focus on a genre, sometimes an author, sometimes a subject. We come together share our favorites and help each other find new books to enjoy.  This book club will probably evolve over time to fit Trinidad.
