Directs diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of persons within the County who suffer from mental and emotional disorders, alcoholism and drug abuse. Costs of these services are offset by State sales tax revenue, State and Federal Block Grants, Medi-Cal/Medicare and other insurance, patient fees, contracts for services and a small amount of County funds.
