When I try to select a contacts folder in the
Address Book dialog box, I get an error.
The contacts folder may either be
empty, have been
deleted or, if the contacts folder is shared, you may no longer have permission
to use it.
You will receive an error if you
try and select a Contacts folder from the Address Book that has no contacts in
If you no longer
have permission to use the contacts folder, ask the owner of the folder if you
can have permission to use the folder, and then set up the folder in the Address
Book again. For information about how to set up a contacts folder in the Address
Book, click here.
If you determine that the contacts folder
does not exist or that you cannot get permission to use it, you can remove the
folder from the Address Book. On the Tools menu, click Services;
click the Services tab, click Outlook Address Book, and then click
Properties. Click the name of the folder you want to remove, and then
click Remove Address Book.
