b. SAMOA DUNES, Samoa area (on both sides of New Navy Base Rd.): An appeal of the administrative determination of one parcel entitled to a Conditional Certificate of Compliance. CASE No. DS-07-16A; FILE Nos. 401-011-10, -12, -18, -20, -23, -021-11, -18 & -27 (AP)

PUBLIC HEARINGS

The projects listed below are public hearing items that have generated public comment prior to the hearing date or have other issues related to them that may require discussion.

1. HUMBOLDT COUNTY DRAFT GENERAL PLAN UPDATE. Chapter 4, Land Use Element.

Staff recommends the Commission:

Discuss the Land Use Element focusing on resolving any outstanding issues for Growth Planning and Urban Lands plus discuss and deliberate key issues for 4.4 Rural Lands, 4.5 Agricultural Resources, and 4.6 Forest Resources. Review and confirm proposed General Plan hearing schedule. This is a deliberating and discussion work meeting. Public testimony is not expected to be taken.
