Time limits will be established by the Chair depending on the number of people wishing to speak and the length of the Agenda for the evening.

The projects listed below are public hearing items that have generated public comment prior to the hearing date or have other issues related to them that may require discussion.

1. HUMBOLDT COUNTY DRAFT GENERAL PLAN UPDATE. Chapter 4, Land Use Element, Section 4.3 (Urban Lands) and Section 4.4 (Rural Lands).

Staff recommends the Commission:

§ Open the public hearing and receive a staff report on Section 4.4, Urban Lands;

§ Deliberate and discuss revisions to the Urban Lands Section;

§ Receive staff presentation on Section 4.4, Rural Lands;

§ Receive public comments;

§ Deliberate and discuss Rural Lands policies;

§ Provide direction to staff on additional analyses or details; and

§ Continue the public hearing to September 24, 2009.
