The Humboldt County Community Development Services
Department is responsible for protecting the public health, safety, and
welfare through building permit review and inspection, planning and
development review and approval, maintaining the County's general plan, and
administering economic development grants and programs.
The Community Development Services Department is
made up of the following divisions:
Planning Division
Building Division
Economic Development
Natural Resources Planning
