Affordable Housing

The Housing Division works to increase the supply of affordable housing for residents in the unincorporated areas of the County. To accomplish this goal the Division pursues funding for a variety of housing initiatives that include first time home buyer assistance programs, owner occupied housing rehabilitation programs, new multifamily and senior housing projects, and housing for disabled residents. In addition the Division serves to inform policy decisions that will lead to new housing options for very-low, low and moderate-income people in Humboldt County.

Listed below is more information on projects and programs we have undertaken, links to our key funding partners and information about affordable housing policies, design, and implementation.
