Updates/History/Corrections: apnpublic.shp was produced using parcel lines 
and the assessor use code = 80.  attributes were added to more easily identify 
public lands by owner level (federal, state, & local) and the names of beaches, 
parks, recreation areas, reserves, etc.  apnpublic3.shp was significantly 
edited by adding attributes - own, agency, areaname, and type.  These attributes 
make it easier to map out and identify federal, state, and local parks and other 
open space areas.
An excel spreadsheet has been created to summarize these breakdowns:  
h:\gis1\admin\pubownID.xls
apnpublic4.shp was based on a newer version of the parcels - apnhum18sp.

Feb. 2008 - Added Arcata/Eureka Airport Lands and Fixed Wiyot/Table Bluff Reservation.

Accuracy: unknown, varied

Warning/Data Limitations: This dataset is only as accurate as the parcel 
lines which have numerous spatial innaccuracies.
Should not be used for precise measurement or navigation.
