Interactive Housing Inventory Mapping
System
This system allows public review and comment about parcels that are included
in the County's Housing Inventory. This inventory contains the County's
estimates of additional development potential for parcels that have been planned
and zoned for residential use. You are invited to comment about any specific
parcel, or about the system in general.
We are particularly interested in whether you think we have either under or
over-estimated the additional development potential of a given parcel. Enter
your comments and we will review them, provide a response, and where warranted,
revise our estimate of development potential.

Please note the
accuracy of the GIS Parcel Lines shown in this system varies from location to
location in the County. This GIS system is useful for planning purposes but
should not be relied upon to determine property, zoning or general plan
designation boundaries or be used in any way for project design. Humboldt
County Community Development Services (HCCDS) makes no guarantee of the
accuracy or completeness of this data. It has not been fully reviewed for

This system only has development potential information
for parcels in the
unincorporated areas of Humboldt County, not parcels in the cities of Arcata, Blue Lake, Eureka,
Fortuna, Ferndale, Rio Dell, or Trinidad. Contact each city for information about
development potential for those parcels.
Directions for Using the System
Search
: To find parcels that are of interest to you, click on the
"Search" tab and search by parcel number or by address.
Search Housing Inventory
: Use this query tool to get a listing of parcels selected
according to your criteria and to calculate their combined development
potential. Click on any parcel number in the listing to zoom to that
parcel.
Get
Parcel Information: To get information
for any parcel displayed on the map, choose the
"Info" tool left of the map and click on the parcel.
Leave Comments About Specific Parcels: After you get the parcel
information, you can click to leave your comments about that parcel.
