Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for two suspects after receiving a report of a robbery this afternoon. At about 12:30 p.m. Sheriff’s Deputies were flagged down while driving on Vance Street, near the Samoa Bridge. Two men reported that they had been robbed at gunpoint during a business transaction. The two men said they had been riding in a vehicle with two other men when a dispute broke out. During the argument one of the suspects produced a small caliber handgun and shot at one of the victims; the man was not hurt. Eventually, both victims were able to leave the vehicle and the suspects drove away.
The suspects were driving a burgundy or champagne colored SUV, possibly a Chevy Tahoe.
The first suspect is an African-American male adult, between 26-29 years old. He is about 5’9” tall and weighs approx. 190 pounds. He has a shaved head and a moustache. His first name may be “Marcus.”
The second suspect is an African-American male adult, about 25 years old, with short hair. His first name may be “Rick.”
