The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office responded to a local hospital early this morning after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed. Deputies arrived at the hospital at about 1:30 a.m. and found that Terry Marvin Matlock, 34 of McKinleyville, had sustained multiple stab wounds. Mr. Matlock was taken into surgery this morning with serious injuries.
Further investigation indicated that Mr. Matlock had been stabbed after an argument escalated. The incident occurred at a residence on the 2100 block of Second Avenue in McKinleyville.
Sheriff’s Deputies are looking for Jordan Kenneth Spannaus, a 14 year-old male juvenile in connection with the stabbing. Jordan is 5’8” tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and collar length black hair.
