Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating an assault that occurred last night in the parking lot of Murphy’s Market in Blue Lake. At about 9:15 p.m. deputies were called to the market on Glendale Drive after receiving a report that a man had been seriously assaulted and was in need of medical attention. Deputies arrived to find Bradley Craig Green, 52 of Eureka, being attended to by medical personnel. A witness told deputies that Mr. Green had been assaulted by three men. During the assault Mr. Green was knocked down and he struck his head on the pavement. The three suspects then left in two separate vehicles.
The first vehicle is a dark brown 4X4 pickup truck with a tan stripe running along the length of the truck. The truck has wood racks on the bed of the truck.
The second vehicle was only described as a dark-colored older model import.
Mr. Green was transported to a local hospital where he is in intensive care with a head injury.
