The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office located three juveniles who had been missing in the Fickle Hill area since yesterday. The boys, two fifteen-years-olds and a nine-year-old, were reported missing at about 7:30 last evening after failing to return from a walk. The Sheriff’s Posse and Special Services Deputies searched the area throughout the night but were unable to locate the boys. This morning the search continued with help in the air from the US Coast Guard and the Sheriff’s Air Auxiliary. Citizens also assisted in the ground search.
At about 11:50 this morning an ATV team of Posse members located the three. They were about a mile from home, in the Jacoby Creek watershed. The three boys were uninjured.
