Sheriff’s deputies had first been called to the area at about 9:00 last night following reports of a disturbance. Witnesses told deputies that Frost had been yelling threats at residents. Frost had already left the area when deputies arrived.
Frost returned to the campground later that night. At about 1:00 am there was a confrontation between him and two individuals. During the confrontation Frost was shot by a 17 year-old boy.
Sheriff’s Deputies and Investigators will forward their reports to the District Attorney’s Office. The DA’s office will determine what charges, if any, will be filed and against whom.
