A Redway man was reported missing Monday evening after he failed to return from a trip to Mendocino County. Chris Robert Giauque, 36, left Humboldt County on August 09, 2003 to meet an acquaintance near Spy Rock Road in Mendocino County. When he failed to return his wife became concerned and notified Sheriff’s Deputies late yesterday afternoon.

Description: Giauque is a white male adult, 6 feet tall, and 145 pounds. He has blue eyes, a full beard, and sandy blonde hair that he wears in long dreadlocks.

Clothing: He was last seen wearing reddish orange Carhart pants and a red, white, and orange Hawaiian print shirt. He also was wearing a green or dark tan hat and Danner boots.

Vehicle: Giauque drives a 1994 blue Toyota extra cab pick-up truck, California license plate 5N92992.

Giauque is considered a high risk missing person as it is unusual for him to be gone without telling anybody. Anyone with information about Giauque should call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at (707) 445-7251.
