The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the case of a missing man from the Salmon Creek area of Southern Humboldt. Relatives of Whitney also reported that it is extremely out of character for Whitney to be gone without notifying someone. Sheriff’s Deputies searched for Whitney near his residence and did not locate him or his vehicle.

Whitney is a white male adult, about 5’7” tall and weighing about 145 pounds. He has close-cropped reddish brown hair and green eyes. He may have a full beard. Whitney is known to drive a 2002 gold Ford Ranger, California license plate 7Y41292.
