On 09-12-2011, approximately 11:45 p.m. a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputy stopped a Dodge pickup for a vehicle code violation on Central Avenue, McKinleyville. After contacting the driver, who was identified as Robert Paul Lightner, 29 years, of McKinleyville, the deputy learned Lightner was on probation with a search clause. Other deputies arrived and they searched Lightner’s vehicle and his home. During their search they located numerous illegal prescription pills including Methadone and Oxycodone, along with 56 grams of Hashish, and
23 lbs of Marijuana.
Lightner was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of Hashish, violation of probation, and possession of marijuana for sale. His bail was set at $25,000.00.
