On Wednesday January 11, 2012 at about 2:40 PM, Deputies from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Rural Crimes Unit responded to the Orick area, based on numerous complaints of illegal drug activity. At the end of Hufford Road, Deputies found a vehicle parked and occupied by two subjects; Pamela May Stevens (07-18-1970) of Waitsburg, Washington and Frank Dennis Lindberg (11-11-1955) of Curry County, Oregon.
Lindberg had originally identified himself as Loren Boehm when he was first contacted by the deputies. A consent search was conducted on the vehicle and a variety of drugs were located in the vehicle.
Lindberg was arrested for the violations of; possession of concentrated marijuana, possession of more than one ounce of marijuana (approx. 288 grams) and later at the jail, providing a false name to a peace officer. Lindberg’s true identity was discovered at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility, where it was discovered that Lindberg was an absconded and wanted parolee out of Oregon.
Stevens was issued a citation and released at the scene for misdemeanor violations of possession of prescription medication not contained in the prescription container and possession of non-prescribed schedule III drugs, depressants.
Lindberg remains at the Humboldt County Correctional Facility based on the most recent charges and violations from Oregon (parole status).
