On 01-21-2012, approximately 9:00 p.m. the Humboldt County Sheriffs Office received a tip from a citizen that wanted suspect, Michael Sherman Stockhoff 21 years, was at the Bear River Casino Pump and Play, Loleta. A deputy responded to the gas station and saw Stockhoff exiting the gas station. After Stockhoff spotted the deputy he immediately began to run. The deputy chased after Stockhoff on foot. The chase crossed Singley Road and into an adjacent field where the deputy caught Stockhoff, who continued to resist arrest. After arresting Stockhoff, the deputy located a small bag of suspected methamphetamine in Stockhoffs’ front pants pocket.
Stockhoff was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for resisting arrest, possession of methamphetamine, and two warrants for his arrest. One “no bail” felony warrant for possession of drugs, and a misdemeanor warrant for possession of drugs.
