Eureka Girl Scout Troop 70529 will be holding a “Save a Dog” campaign at the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Animal Shelter on Thursday, February 23, 2012 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. The Girls Scouts are encouraging the public to save the life of a dog by adopting from the shelter. They are offering a free box of Girl Scout Cookies with the first 20 dog adoptions that afternoon, which will be paid for by the troop!

Please join the Girl Scouts at the shelter, 980 Lycoming Avenue in McKinleyville, and see all of the wonderful pets that are up for adoption! You can also check out our website, www.petharbor.com.
