The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit with assistance from the Campaign Against Marijuana Planting (CAMP) eradicated over 20,400 marijuana plants from 48 separate gardens from August 8th through August 11th.

The marijuana gardens were located in the following locations: Blocksburg, Larabee Valley, Eel Rock, Dean Creek, Alderpoint, Old Harris. One of the gardens seized in Eel Rock contained over 10,000 marijuana plants.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office seized a quad runner which was located in one of the marijuana gardens in the Dean Creek area of Garberville.

All of these cases are still under investigation by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
