Humboldt County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a Eureka man Saturday night after finding him in possession of more than nineteen grams of heroin. At about 9:45 p.m. Sheriff’s Deputies Anthony Lagarda and Jesse Taylor conducted a traffic stop near Trinity St. and Myrtle Ave. in Eureka. Deputies discovered the driver, Aaron Galdieri, 20, was on felony probation with a search clause. Galdieri was detained and his vehicle was searched pursuant to the terms of his probation. Deputies found hypodermic needles and a digital scale in the vehicle. Further investigation led Deputies Lagarda and Taylor to Galdieri’s residence on Lake Forest Court in Eureka. Inside Galdieri’s bedroom Deputies found black tar heroin, more hypodermic needles, several digital scales, and additional drug paraphernalia.

Galdieri was arrested and transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility. During the routine intake search of his clothing at the jail, Correctional Officers found additional heroin on Galdieri.

In total, Galdieri was found to be in possession of 19.3 grams of heroin. He was booked for possession of a narcotic, possession of a narcotic for sale, the transport of a narcotic for sale, possession of a hypodermic needle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail has been set at $25,000 and he is expected to be arraigned by Wednesday.
