Late last week, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office was made aware of a possible indoor marijuana growing operation after a fire occurred at a residence on the 6400 block of Eggert Road in Eureka. This morning Sheriff’s Deputies contacted the resident there, Bradley John Chrisler, 48, who is on formal probation with a search and seizure clause. Deputies conducted a probation search of the residence and located 535 growing marijuana plants and more than 11 pounds of dried marijuana. Additionally, they found three hypodermic syringes. Deputies arrested Chrisler and transported him to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility where he was booked for cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sales, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and a probation violation. Chrisler posted bail in the amount of $20,000 and is scheduled to be arraigned on September 01, 2009.
