On Wednesday December 7, 2011 at 1035 hours, Deputies from the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and Officers of the Hoopa Valley Tribal Police Department, located and arrested Robert ‘nmn’ Mabry (21, Hoopa resident). Mabry was reported by the Sheriff’s Office in prior media releases to be wanted by the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office.
Acting on information received, Deputies and Officers went to a residence on Moon Lane, near State Route 96, Hoopa. Mabry was located sleeping in a rear bedroom and arrested without incident. Mabry has been a suspect in numerous robberies, burglaries, thefts and high speed pursuits. During one home-invasion type robbery, Mabry fired a weapon at the home owner. Mabry was booked into the Humboldt County Correctional facility on two (2) no bail warrants for his arrest and three (3) new cases authored by the Hoopa Valley Tribal Police Department. The Sheriff’s Office has several cases pending, with warrants for his arrest to be sought in connection with those investigations. Mabry was booked on the following:
Warrant #1: No bail alleging; 1. Obstructing or resisting an executive officer in performance of duties. 2. Drawing or exhibiting deadly weapon with intent to resist or prevent arrest by a peace officer.
Warrant #2: No bail alleging; 1. Theft of a motor vehicle. 2. Felonious fleeing from law enforcement (pursuit).
Mabry was also arrested by the Hoopa Valley Tribal Police Department on the following “fresh” charges:
Case #2511-2763, allegations of; possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property, unauthorized possession of ammunition, probation violation, possession of burglary tools and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Case#2511-2651, allegations of; attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, brandishing of a firearm, unauthorized possession of ammunition, criminal threats, burglary, motor vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, shooting at an inhabited dwelling house and felony evading (pursuit).
Case#2511-2646, allegations of; robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and brandishing a firearm.
Mabry is being held on $625,000 bail on the new charges and the two “no bail” warrants for his arrest. There are multiple crimes that Mabry has been implicated as the suspect, with those investigations still continuing.
